CLEAR and RED Insulating Varnish is a general purpose, high gloss, air drying enamel recommended for use as a finish coat for winding and electrical apparatus. It is designed for protection, sealing, and insulating surfaces against deterioration from corrosion action of oils, moisture, acids, and alkali.
It is manufactured using special resins and process techniques in pigment dispersion, producing an insulator requiring little stirring even after long storage periods. If desired, it may also be cured at 250 to 275 F to speed drying time. Dielectric strength depends on coating thickness.
